School Security Procedure

You can bring food and sealed drinks on the bus.

Safety and Security at DHSHS

Students will need to arrive to school on time and not miss any periods in order to attend. Attendance will be reviewed prior to you boarding.

  • Students check into third period, then will be released from class and meet at the blacktops at 11:00am. Listen for the announcements to be released from third period.
  • Please use the restroom and be ready to enter the bus. Once you enter the bus, you will not be excused out. Make sure to use the restroom on your way to the bus loading area.
  • Make sure to eat breakfast and eat at brunch. You can eat on the bus, but you must keep your seat clean, and the bus will NOT STOP for any bathroom breaks.
  • PSUSD Security will be going through every bag,  before the student can enter the bus. Only bring necessary items with you that day to speed the check-in process. There will form 2 lines (1 male / 1 female) for searches. There are no backpacks allowed inside Disneyland.

  • The student information will be entered into a Remind 101 group so that in the event of an Emergency, there is easy communication between the chaperone, and the students on that bus.
  • Bus leaves at 12:00 promptly.
  • Disneyland will conduct further searches once entering.
  • Each chaperone will have a clipboard with your information, permission slip, and will check you in

Your chaperone will have your Disney Ticket and will give it to you once you step out of the bus at Disneyland in Anaheim. Each student is responsible for his/her own ticket throughout the duration of the visit. Tickets are not transferable (void if you give it to someone else) and will not be replaced if lost or stolen (so guard it with your life).

  • Students and chaperones will also receive an event wristband upon arrival to the Grad Nite screening location.

Students are only allowed to bring the following items:

  • Backpack
  • Wallet
  • Sweatshirt or jacket
  • A change of clothes
  • Headphones
  • Cell Phone
  • Power bank to charge phone

The following items are prohibited (NOT ALLOWED) for all Grad Nite attendees (students & chaperones):

  • Alcoholic beverages or any illegal substances.
  • Medical marijuana, even if it has been legally prescribed to the Student or Chaperone.
  • Glass containers of any size or type including perfume/cologne bottles and reusable water bottles.
  • All outside food and liquids including factory-sealed water bottles.
  • Weapons of any kind, or objects that appear to be weapons.
  • Laser pointers or other items deemed potentially harmful or disruptive including Bluetooth speakers.
  • Smoking, vaping and electronic cigarettes.
  • Selfie sticks (hand-held extension poles for cameras and mobile devices).
  • Suitcases, coolers or backpacks with or without wheels that are larger than 24” long x 15” wide x 18” high.
  • Musical instruments.
  • Large tripods and professional photography equipment and lighting.
  • Recreational devices such as drones, remote control toys, skateboards, scooters, inline skates, shoes with built-in wheels.

Students will be held to Disneyland Dress Code and Security Policies at ALL TIMES

 

  • Before entering Disneyland, all bags will be searched and dress code strictly enforced
  • Disney has a Zero Tolerance for Alcohol and Drugs, student’s behavior before entering and while in the park will be monitored by Disney personnel
  • Students are encouraged to take a picture of your tickets as well as carry their Grad Nite tickets on a lanyard with plastic badge holder
